"Don was my Mom's maternal 1st cousin. We are seeking information on him from people who may have served with him. He was missing after a bad battle near the Choson Resovoir. We have never heard anything more. The Army declared him dead January 1, 1953. He remains unaccounted for.

Don was the son of Henry J. & Dorothy Thelma (Ballou) Burmingham of Redfield, New York. He was the eldest of a family of 6 that included Doris Burmingham Barber (1930-91), Shirley Burmingham Treadway, Larry Burmingham, Johnny Burmingham and Mary Jane Burmingham Hunt. He was one of 42 grandchildren on his Mom's side (Ballou) and his Dad was an only child. Don is well remembered, and we have some photos of him

Does anyone ever remember having met or served with Don in either occupation of Japan, War Crimes Trial MP Duty or Korean action?"
